Tractor and Vines Retreat

This project was completed for a couple with a primary residence is in Alberta. The project involved a complete interior re-modeling including floors, kitchen, bathrooms, entertainment, heating and cooling system, window coverings, doors, windows and appliances. The exterior re-finish involved extensive cedar trellising, wrap-around decking finished in tile which accent the new stucco finish and roof lines. In addition to the home renovation, Tight Lines secured board of variance clearance from the City of Summerland to build a large barn on the property, which is in the ALR. This was made possible through the planning and construction of a 1 acre vineyard on the site.

The vineyard will be productive in 2010, and is a significant value-add to the property. The Pinot Noir grapes are already contracted to be sold to a prominent Naramata Bench winery, and will provide the owners of the property an avenue into a new industry and very significant business network within the Okanagan.
